Carving with Care

*Board* at work and want to escape the modern 9-5? Play as Ash, owner of their family's reopened wood carving shop, Carving with Care! Chisel away to your heart's content as you complete the ancient runes found in a family heirloom journal. Achieve the simple satisfaction of meeting all the townspeople of Koa and tending to their various ailments and woes, one carve at a time.
For the most tree-mendously satisfying experience, we recommend headphones.
This project was made as a submission to #IGAFoundryJam for the Fall 2024 season!

Controls
In the Workbench view, you can:
- Rotate wood - A & D keys or mouse scroll
- Pick up tool - right click
- Drop tool - right click
- Add Rune Stencil - left click on journal stencil
- Carve wood - hold left click and drag
- Undo carve - U key
- Clear carving - C key, left click trash can icon
- Reset wood block rotation - R key
- Move to dialogue view via mouse scroll
In the Dialogue view, you can:
- Advance dialogue - left click
- See dialogue history - mouse scroll or scroll bar click and drag
- Move to workbench view via mouse scroll

Hey, is there any way I could download this to PC rather than play it in browser? The "SUBMISSION TO THIS JAM" button is getting in the way of the game's UI. :(
Hey there, our programmers have gone to bed for now, but we can get a PC build up tomorrow! In the meantime, we recommend clicking the little blue button on the bottom right to full screen the game if the submission button is in the way!
